After a 6 year relationship that was filled with abuse, and then a year of me “dating” and my best friend moving out of state, I became lonely and I bought a computer in 9/98. Never knowing I'd meet the man of my dreams. On 10/10/98 this guy Instant messaged me and we began talking. We were on different work schedules. We'd get up in the middle of the night or morning to talk to one another. A day didnt go by that we didnt email each other back..we always found time. We escalated to talking on the phone after 2 months of writing. We finally met on November 22, 1998. He brought me to the lakeshore, watched the sun set with 12 long stem roses, a bottle of champagne, and a wonderful dinner. When it was time to go home, my truck didnt start..he took me all the way home (40 min. away) and delivered my truck fixed to me the next day.
It is now May 2000 and I am still with him. Everyday I thank god I met him – online. We are planning to get married. This guy is a dream come true.
There are wonderful people out there..just waiting to meet each other.
