I am not a heavy drinker, in fact I’m not much of a drinker at all, but I really really love a good beer every once in a while. My husband gets quite annoyed when we go to the bottle shop, because I always take a long time to choose a specialty beer and compare all the different little brewers that the bottle shop is stocking. I love it! It’s kind of like my hobby. That’s why I was so excited and also perplexed when a box of twelve great looking boutique beers turned up on the doorstep. Someone had signed me up for this fabulous Beer of the month club, and it looked like it was a year’s subscription – I was so excited, there was such a unique selection, from microbrewers I had never heard of before, I was in raptures. Of course it was my husband who had signed me up – I suppose he had gotten sick of waiting for me at the bottle shop, so thought a Beer of the month club would mean that I could have all these yummy boutique beers at home.

The only problem is now he has to wait for me while I chat to the guys at the bottle shop about all the new beers I’ve tried!
